Parishioners welcome new community hub

Crowds enjoy new venue for gatherings

The parish community has welcomed its wonderful new facilities inaugurated in mid-December after a six month construction period.

The parish priest has moved into the new priory and various gatherings have been held in the new function centre. The new parish offices have also been occupied for the first time.

The Rosary Community Centre hosted a dinner to mark the completion of the facility, with Fr Peter Hoang extending hospitality to parish council and building committee members and their partners.

Then after each of the opening weekend Masses, good crowds attended for morning tea and a  cheese and wine evening.

Fr Peter welcomed all attendees and invited them to make a habit of regularly gathering after Mass to build the spirit of the community.

The new centre gives the parish great opportunities for social occasions as well as prayer meetings and outreach activities.

The new $1.7 million complex will be blessed and officially opened in a ceremony on 11 March 2018.
